Talk about your sessionBefore choosing the date
Think about the purpose of the photographs, who will be there and the setting you enjoy. For an outdoor Ottawa–Gatineau session, allow for the season and choose a weather alternative before the day.
Choose comfortable clothes
Wear clothes that fit well and let you move. Bring clean shoes appropriate for the location. For groups, choose colours that sit well together without making everyone look identical. If a second outfit matters, mention it while planning the session.
Pack the useful things
Water, a small bag for essentials, any meaningful object you want included and clothing for the weather. For children, bring what usually helps them feel comfortable and plan around their normal rhythm.
Tell us what would help
Share any mobility or accessibility needs, concerns about being photographed, or important group combinations. Tell us your sharing preferences; permission to photograph you is not the same as permission to use your images in promotion.
Check the quote and meeting point
Confirm the exact location, arrival time, edited image count, delivery plan and full price. Travel, parking, studio hire and other agreed extras should be clear before booking or payment. Keep the private request link so you can follow the request and ask about changes.
